Paula brings a wealth of experience and diverse knowledge to MSi. She has guided a variety of organizations in business development, strategic and executive leadership, management, and in board roles over her career. Paula has over twenty years of domestic and international Family Office experience working on venture capital, private equity, turnarounds, and start-up deals ranging from capital formation to buy-outs, merger and acquisitions and exits, project management and development, wealth management, asset protection, and risk management.
As Vice President of Energy, she oversees sales and marketing activities for the oil and gas market and related energy industries, such as power, renewables, and maritime. Prior to joining MSi, Paula served as Managing Director of River Oak Risk, a firm specializing in captive insurance programs, asset protection, risk assessment, and risk management solutions. She continues on as a member of the Board of Advisors.
Fluent in several languages, Paula is a former competitive athlete and has earned the maritime designations for Offshore British Commercial Captain’s License for 200GT Vessels, STCW ’95 Maritime Vessel Safety & Fire Fighting Training, Sea Survival, and designated Medical Care at Sea Person-In-Charge. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Houston.
Paula has served on many of Houston’s Boards and Committees of charitable and community organizations, and continues to serve, contribute, and show support and speak out on behalf of those in need.
