Internship Opportunity: Implementation and Support Specialist

Mission Secure is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our team. As an Implementation and Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in deploying and maintaining our cutting-edge OT cybersecurity platform. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of industrial cybersecurity.

Location: on-site in Houston, Texas (Galleria area)

Key responsibilities of this role are listed below:

• Provision devices for customer implementations
• Build and maintain a test lab for continuous testing and improvement.
• Troubleshoot failed devices, restoring them to factory settings as needed.
• Perform quality control on devices before shipping to clients.
• Pack and ship devices to designated locations.
• Virtually assist clients with installation processes, providing clear and concise guidance.
• Manage inventory of devices and related components.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience with command line Linux installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using a multimeter to verify low voltage power, current, and continuity.
• Prior experience in wiring low voltage devices and utilizing network cable testers.
• Strong background in running and troubleshooting Python and bash scripts.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Products (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence) for project management and collaboration.
• Comfort working with Windows 10, Mac OSX, iOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience in setting up employee workstations, laptops, and phones.
• Ability to perform IT-related troubleshooting and repairs.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.

Note: This is an internship position with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
