Oil and Gas and Industrial Control Systems Experts Strengthen MSi Energy Expertise
Charlottesville, VA – August 17, 2015 – Mission Secure Inc. (MSi), a cyber physical system defense company announced today Honor Guiney joined the company as Chief Operating Officer for implementation, sales and marketing. Honor has over 20 years of experience in various CIO, COO, CAO and VP Operations capacities at oil & gas services companies; including Dresser-Rand, Trade-Ranger, CHC Helicopter and National Oilwell Varco. In addition she has performed consultative services to many companies including Reliant Energy, ConocoPhillips, Enterprise Product Solutions, BP, and Plains Resources. Earlier in her career she served as VP of Professional Services in software technology firms such as Unidata, a database company that became publicly traded Ardent Software acquired by Informix.
“Honor brings tremendous leadership, skill and knowledge of the oil and gas and software industries to the team. Oil companies are under increasing cyber attack from nation states and criminal organizations. Honor will help Mission Secure deliver better solutions to protect the most critical assets including oil rigs, refineries and pipelines,” said David Drescher, CEO of Mission Secure.
Mark Bagget also joined the company as Vice President of Industrial Control Systems, where he assists in understanding MSi clients’ current systems, vulnerabilities, potential attack points and solutions. He has worked with Industrial Control Systems for over 25 years in diverse environments around the globe where he was accountable for managing the engineering, construction, equipment installation and startup for a wide variety of projects spanning several industries. These projects included manufacturing plants, oil rigs, refineries, pipelines and chemical plants. He has extensive experience in the Energy sector with companies such as: BP, Total, Shell, Exxon, Conoco/Phillips and others where he designed/engineered and seamlessly implemented Control Systems.
